Joining forces to preserve historical heritage
A memorandum of cooperation was signed between Kozybayev University and the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "Botai" of the Culture Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The cooperation project is aimed at:
-joint international research in the field of archaeology, history, and culture ;
-development of comprehensive programs for the preservation and revival of historical and cultural monuments ;
-participation in exhibition projects ;
-organizing consultations on science, technology, culture, and art, and improving exhibition activities ;
-preparation and publication of scientific works ;
-assistance in the professional training of museum specialists of various profiles and educational internships.
In the summer of this year, a group of history students under the leadership of Professor Anatoly Pleshakov conducted excavations at the "Botai" settlement, and the faculty took part in a conference dedicated to the heritage of the Botai culture. And our scientists continue to make a significant contribution to the study of the monument. This great work will be continued.
