A graduate of the "Pharmacy" educational program is capable of assessing physiological and pathological conditions of the human body; possesses knowledge of the fundamentals of disease prevention, therapy, and pharmacological correction; has skills in providing pre-medical emergency care; understands the molecular and cellular mechanisms of diseases; applies methods for the identification of microorganisms and viruses; has a solid foundation in chemistry and methods of substance analysis; uses modern technologies, statistics, and computer-based data processing methods; and adheres to the principles of ethics, deontology, and an anti-corruption culture.

The graduate is able to prepare and control the quality of medicinal products; apply methods of synthesis, isolation, and standardization of medicinal raw materials; organize the operation of pharmacies and pharmaceutical enterprises; address issues of management, pharmacoeconomics, and sanitary-hygienic measures; consult physicians, pharmacists, and patients on the rational use of medicines; employ methods of toxicological analysis and forensic chemical examination; and assess the quality, safety, and compliance of medicinal products with legislative requirements.

Formation of a qualified individual capable of professional growth and professional mobility, possessing general cultural, key, and general professional competencies in the field of pharmacy, as well as the professional competencies of a pharmacist. Ensuring the quality of training of qualified specialists who are competitive in the Kazakhstani and international labor markets.
