Our students are prize–winners of the Delphic Games
The National Student Theater "Pilgrim" won the 3rd place in the XIV National Delphic Games in the nomination "Theatrical Art". The competitions were held in Astana from September 13-17. They presented the performance of "Voices in the Dark". It is gratifying that the entire troupe is students of Kozybayev University. The actors are our students, and the theater head and the play's director are undergraduates.
Having passed the regional competition, young artists represented the North Kazakhstan region already at the republican stage. Recall that the Delphic Games are a kind of Olympiad, only the participants compete not in sports disciplines, but in creative ones.
In total, about 500 contestants from 17 regions of Kazakhstan took part. The games were held in 14 competitive categories: piano, violin, folk instruments, academic and folk singing, dancing, photography, fashion design, art reading, theater, decorative and applied, and visual arts, singing in sign language.
