Huawei Road show for Kozybayev University Students

Representatives of a company named Huawei visited our university and told the students about the work of the ICT Academy based at Kozybayev University. Let us recall that in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 40 Huawei academies have been opened in universities, which cover over 7 thousand students. This project is a global educational program aimed at training highly qualified specialists in the field of information and communication technologies.

"The purpose of our visit is to inform about the ICT Academy. Huawei, together with universities, opens academies where it provides full access to its international Talent Online platform, free of charge. Here you will find more than 1000 courses on advanced IT technologies. There is an opportunity to get international certification. Every year we allocate a certain number of vouchers with which you can take an international test and, after successfully passing it, you will have the opportunity to both find a job and teach anywhere in the world where Huawei equipment is listed,” said Zhazira Kamashbek, talent ecosystem development manager at Huawei Technologies Kazakhstan LLP.

Right at the event, students were able to register on this educational platform using a QR code. The youth also learned details of the ICT Competition from Huawei, in which students from all over the world can participate. The winners will receive advanced gadgets and the opportunity to find employment in the company. The competition is held in several stages: from university to global. Participants can register until October 20 on the Huawei website.
