Professors from Poland and Malaysia share scientific experience

Within the framework of the project of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan to attract foreign scientists to the country's universities, professors from Poland and Malaysia arrived at Kozybayev University.

Nurliyana Abdullah Lili and Fatima Sidi are PhD students at Universiti Putra Malaysia. This university provides training in engineering, medical sciences, economics, management, education, languages and communications through 17 faculties and nine research institutes. At Kozybayev University, they are conducting a refresher course for teachers in the Faculty of Engineering and Digital Technology. Nurliyana Abdullah Lili also gave an open lecture for faculty members on modern technologies and multimedia tools in teaching students.

"Representatives from Malaysian universities do not visit us very often. Therefore, further collaboration is important to us, including in the field of science. It is very interesting for us," emphasised Chairman of the Board - Rector Yerbol Isakaev.

Professor Czubak Wawrzyniec, a professor from one of the largest universities in Poland - the University of Natural Sciences in Poznan, came to co-operate at the Department of Economics, Accounting and Finance. He shared with colleagues his experience in the formation and development of dual education in Poland. A joint scientific publication, which he is preparing together with North Kazakhstan scientists, is also devoted to the topic of dual education. Another area of Professor Wawrzyniec's activity is the organisation of advanced training courses in the field of "Finance, Accounting and Analysis". In addition, he is involved in supervising diploma and master's theses.

Foreign scientists will stay at Kozybayev University for 4 weeks. During this time it is planned to hold a number of joint conferences and seminars, as well as to identify vectors for further co-operation.
