A New Stage of Cooperation

Kozybayev University has been closely cooperating with the North Kazakhstan Region Prosecutor's Office for many years. Within the framework of the signed memorandum, law students undertake internships in law enforcement agencies. The leadership of the prosecutor's office gives lectures and is part of the student thesis defense committees.

Today, the university hosted the opening of a book exhibition and the "Bolashak Prosecutor Kenestigi" project. This space will be a great support in the preparation of qualified lawyers. It contains books on the history of the formation of the law enforcement system of the Republic of Kazakhstan, codes and laws of the country, publications on the rehabilitation of victims of political repression, and many other valuable materials. At a meeting with students of the Faculty of History, Economics, and Law, employees of the prosecutor's office spoke about their interaction with the university and shared valuable work experience.

"We believe that Kozybayev University is one of the leading educational institutions preparing qualified personnel. About 90 employees in the ranks of our General Prosecutor's Office, in the region and in the center, are your graduates. Thank you for opening a special space where our literature is displayed. I want students to use the opportunity to improve their knowledge, to learn more about the activities of the prosecutor's office. In the future, we will update the corner, send additional literature and methodological manuals," said Yerlan Uali, Head of the Department of Personnel Work of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
