Kozybayev University has signed an agreement enabling its students to undertake internships at National Information Technologies JSC (NIT). From 17 to 28 February, Darina Mendybayeva and Farida Khamitova, students from group IS-21k, are completing their professional internship in the SDM Big Data Department.
This department is home to Kazakhstan’s leading specialists responsible for managing big data within the country’s state information systems. The internship presents valuable opportunities for students to deepen their knowledge and gain practical experience in a wide range of highly sought-after IT specializations. As part of their internship, the students have been assigned the task of developing a system for collecting and analysing job vacancy data from the HeadHunter platform. Additionally, Kairat Muntinov, a lecturer from the Department of ICT, is also completing an internship at the company.
National Information Technologies JSC is Kazakhstan’s key operator of the information and communication infrastructure that supports the country’s “e-government” system. The experience and skills acquired through this internship will be a significant asset for students in their future careers. For employers, seeing NIT on a graduate’s CV is a strong indicator of quality and competence.
