A meeting with law enforcement officers was held at the Faculty of History, Economics, and Law

On January 29, 2026, a meeting was held in the classroom No. 1 of the educational building No. 5, where 1st-year students of the Faculty of History, Economics, and Law met with employees of the Department of Combating Organized Crime and the Investigative Department of the North Kazakhstan Region Police Department.

The event was attended by Lieutenant Colonel of Police, Senior Investigator for Special Cases of the Investigative Department of the North Kazakhstan Region Police Department, Baitasov Erik, and Major of Police, Senior Operations Officer of the Department of Combating Organized Crime of the North Kazakhstan Region Police Department, Baimenova Ayakoz.

During the meeting, the following relevant and socially significant topics were discussed: "Extortion is a crime against property", "Human trafficking is a form of crime in the modern world." Law enforcement officers explained to the students the social danger of extortion, which involves the violation of property rights, causing material damage to victims, and often accompanied by threats of violence.

Special attention was paid to the problem of human trafficking, including trafficking of minors. The participants of the meeting were told about who is most often the victim of such crimes, what methods they are committed and in what forms the victims are used in illegal activities.

The meeting was of a preventive and educational nature, contributed to the improvement of legal literacy of students and aroused keen interest among students.
