A Kozybayev University student brings “gold” to Kazakhstan’s medal tally

We are proud of our athletes who, through hard work and dedication, make a significant contribution to the development of national sports and take confident steps on the national and international stage!

Two students of our university have joined the national team and began competing today at the Asian Cycling Championships (Road) in the individual time trial, held in Al-Qassim, Saudi Arabia.

We are delighted to announce that Mansur Beisembay, a student of the Faculty of Education, group FKS 23-1, has become the Asian Champion! Mansur won the men’s under-23 individual time trial, defeating strong competitors from Mongolia, China, and Japan. He covered the 24.6 km distance in 29 minutes 03 seconds.

Congratulations to Mansur Beisembay on his brilliant victory at this Championship distance! We wish him, as well as our student Mikhail Podluzhny, further successful performances!
