The Faculty of History, Economics and Law hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Kozybaev Readings – 2026», on the topic: «Legal and socio-economic aspects of society’s development in the context of global transformation».
The M. Kozybayev North Kazakhstan University hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Kozybayev Readings 2026», dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the outstanding Kazakh historian and academician Manash Kabashevich Kozybayev. The event brought together teachers, researchers, master's students, and undergraduates interested in the current issues of society's development in the context of global transformation.
As part of the work of the Faculty of History, Economics and Law, Section 7 was held on the topic: «Legal and socio-economic aspects of society's development in the context of global transformation»." The participants presented reports reflecting the current challenges and trends in the fields of law, economics, media, and social services.
The Dean of the Faculty of History, Economics and Law, Associate Professor, PhD Ramazanova Shynar Shaimuratovna, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.
In her speech, she emphasized the importance of scientific dialogue and an interdisciplinary approach in shaping a sustainable future and developing human capital.
The following participants took part in the section:
1. Abil Gulim Talantkyzy, a 2nd year student of the Faculty of Law at Alikhan Bokeikhan University (Semey), presented a report on the prevention of crimes related to illegal access and use of bank accounts, payment and identification means.
2. Kabi Gulim Bekbolatkyzy, a 2nd year student of the Faculty of Law at Alikhan Bokeikhan University, participated in the discussion of current legal issues.
3. Alexey Serikovich Kozakhmetov, a 2nd-year master's student in the «Financial Analytics» educational program, presented a report on the development of mortgage lending in the Republic of Kazakhstan using the example of «Bank CenterCredit» JSC.
4. Dariga Omirovna Smailova, a master's student, presented a study on the role of the media in promoting volunteering in the media space.
5. Gulnur Tokhtarovna Mukhambetova, a 4th-year student in the «Law» educational program, highlighted the role of governmental and public institutions in the development of mediation.
6. Tomashevskaya Tatyana Olegovna, a student of the group Zh-24, examined the influence of social networks on professional journalism.
7. Pavlov Dmitry Aleksandrovich and Kuznetsova Karina Lvovna, 4th year students of the OP «Law», presented a report dedicated to the formation of anti-corruption culture and standards in the education system of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The conference became an important platform for the exchange of scientific ideas, the discussion of current issues, and the development of practical recommendations. The presented research demonstrated the high level of preparation of the participants and their commitment to the development of science and society in the context of global changes.
