Round table discussion on «What is tolerance»
On May 19, senior lecturer of the Department of Biology Kornilova A.A. held a round table with story and role-playing tasks for students of FMEN @fmen_skgu on the topic «What is tolerance».
The event discussed problematic issues of tolerance in the modern world as a personal component of a competent specialist. The participants considered the types of tolerance (national, political, personal, etc.). They discussed the personality traits that characterize it as tolerant and intolerant. The students had to perform exercises that would clearly show the role of tolerance in human life, play through situations where tolerance plays a leading role and see the aspects that hinder tolerance.
The round table was very interesting, the participants actively expressed their opinions and joined the discussion. Upon reflection, many noted the importance of such events for the personal and professional growth of students.
