«The solemn ceremony of equipping the certified 1C: Accounting center with digital competencies in economic education»
On April 16, 2026, at the Faculty of History, Economics, and Law, a solemn ceremony was held to equip the certified 1C-Accounting center with modern computer equipment as part of the Science Decade. The event was supported by 1C: Kazakhstan and marked an important step in the digitalization of the educational process and the training of qualified personnel in the field of economics.
The ceremony was attended by Yerlan M. Isakaev, Rector of the M. Kozybayev South Kazakhstan University, Aset Merekeevich Abdygaparov, Specialist in Educational Projects, Olga E. Grigorieva, General Director of GEM SK LLP, Sh. Sh. Ramazanova, Dean of the Faculty, D. N. Shaykin, Head of the Department of Economics, Accounting, and Finance, and Kirill, Leading Specialist at GEM SK LLP.
Thanks to the support of its partners, the university has received 15 modern computers, which will significantly improve the learning conditions for the accounting and auditing, business and management, and economics educational programs. The new equipment creates additional opportunities for the professional growth of teachers and gives students a chance to receive official certificates that increase their competitiveness in the labor market.
The development of certification is of particular importance: today, it is becoming an important tool for confirming professional competencies. For employers, having a certificate is an indicator of the quality of a specialist's training, while for graduates, it is a real path to career growth, increased income, and professional recognition.
The event was marked by the cutting of the ribbon, which was attended by Khalilya Minnemullina, a graduate of the Economics program and the Accounting and Audit department, and Olga Yurievna Andreeva, a representative of 1C: Kazakhstan.
The 1C-Accounting Certification Center has been operating at the university since 2020. Its main goal is to provide students and faculty with practical experience in working with professional 1C systems, strengthen collaboration with the business community, and enhance the university's reputation.
During the center's operation, 171 students completed courses in accounting and auditing, economics, and business and management. Of these, 87 successfully passed the 1C: Professional exam and received corresponding certificates confirming their high level of training.
This event made a significant contribution to the development of digital education and strengthening cooperation between the university and employers.
