Discussion platform on the autonomy of Kazakh universities
Since 2017, Manash Kozybayev NKSU is a member of the consortium of the Erasmus+ TRUNAK project "Transition to University autonomy in Kazakhstan". The aim of this project is to create a new model of autonomy for Kazakh universities.
On February 18, 2019, the working group of this project organized a discussion platform to discuss the results of the master class, which was held earlier at the University of Lund (Sweden). Rector of the University, Omirbayev Serik Maulenovich, presented the main conclusions and recommendations of the master class participants on further changes in the elements of the higher education system of Kazakhstan to ensure academic, personnel, organizational and financial autonomy.
The discussion was attended by Vice-rector for Directions, Director of Departments of the University, Deans of faculties. At the end of the discussion, the main directions for discussing this topic at the next master class at the University of Ljubljana (Slovenia) were identified.
