Ensemble of modern choreography “Antournan”

The modern choreography ensemble “Antournan” was founded in 1989 by Irina Kolokolova, then it was called “Rendezvous”. Over the years, the ensemble has staged various productions, which include unique dance numbers representing various trends in contemporary art. The ensemble of modern and folk choreography "Antournan", which has been working since 2013 under the direction of K.S Plokhenko, has more than 30 members. It includes students from Kazakhstan and India. The ensemble participates in events both inside and outside the university. For 6 years he has been cooperating with the Institute of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan. |

In 2019, the 30th anniversary concert "We dance for you" was held, in which more than 40 students took part, as well as cadets of the Military Institute of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan and students from sunny India. The ensemble's repertoire includes modern choreography of all directions and styles, as well as folk dances: Kazakh, Russian, Indian, Uzbek, Spanish, Gypsy, Uyghur, etc. Thanks to the responsiveness, solidarity, responsibility and friendliness of the participants, the ensemble successfully performs in many events, on average more than 100 concerts per year, as well as annual reporting concerts.
The Antournan Ensemble is a professional contemporary dance group. The ensemble has earned the reputation of "The most outstanding collective of contemporary dance in North Kazakhstan region", tours the villages of the region, and also invites students of city schools and boarding schools to its hall. Under the direction of the artistic director of the collective Plokhenko Kristina Sergeevna. The members of the dance troupe combine refined technique with a dynamic fusion of energy, emotion and humor, which they demonstrate in their performances, full of expression and life. There are 54 dancers in the group, 10 of them are students from India. When there is dance, you don't need to know the language!
Ensemble "Antournan" takes prizes of honor at city, regional and republican competitions, festivals ("Zhas tolkyn", "Kabluchok", "Student Spring", etc.).
Since 2022, the ensemble has been led by Kapezova Raigul Adylbekovna.
